Privacy.
The short version: we run no trackers, store almost nothing, and the one thing we verify, a wallet balance, is already public.
What we collect
Ykicis is a static research publication. Browsing the public site sends us nothing: no analytics beacons, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting scripts.
When you verify holdings, your wallet address and a one-time signature pass through the verification flow. The signature proves ownership; it authorizes no transaction and grants no spending power. We store the linked address and its verification timestamp. Nothing else.
What stays in your browser
Desk preferences (filters, sort order, pagination) persist in your browser's local storage under the ykicis.desk.v1 key, alongside a wallet auto-reconnect flag. They never leave your device and clearing site data removes them completely.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent, or share member data. We do not request token approvals or custody of any asset. We do not link wallet addresses to off-chain identity, and we do not run third-party advertising or analytics of any kind.
Balance checks read public chain state through public RPC endpoints; those reads are visible to the RPC operator as any chain read is.
Newsletter
The weekly desk read is delivered by a third-party newsletter platform under its own privacy terms. Subscribing shares your email with that platform, not with the member system; the two lists are never joined.
Changes
Material changes to this policy are announced on the blog and take effect for future use of the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
