Ykicis: a forecasting desk with receipts.
Systematic pricing of prediction markets, selective publication under a fixed standard, and an on-chain record that cannot be rewritten.
1 · The problem
Event markets became a real asset class in under a year: combined monthly volume on the two largest venues grew from under $5B in September 2025 to $44.8B by June 2026. Liquidity arrived; the research layer did not. Retail participants face thousands of listed contracts with no ranking of where the edge is, free probability feeds with no trade construction, and paywalled institutional data they cannot access. Meanwhile the academic record shows the prices are systematically imperfect: an overtraded default side, a favorite-longshot reversal on decentralized venues, and roughly $40M in documented arbitrage payouts on one venue alone.
2 · The forecasting system
The desk maintains an independent fair price, in cents, for every tracked market. Inputs are two: evidence, 6,000+ global sources read continuously, from filings and wire services to weather models and on-chain flows, and judgment, 1,000+ experts scored on their resolved record and weighted accordingly. An agentic research pipeline with statistical calibration turns both into a price; the class of system it belongs to has reached parity with the median human superforecaster on market questions (Brier 0.0753 vs 0.074, ForecastBench FB-Market).
3 · The Signal standard
Most mispricings are noise: too small to survive spread, or lacking any near-term mechanism to correct. A Signal is the rare exception, and the standard is fixed: an edge of at least 6¢, a nameable catalyst inside the window, and a defined exit (fair price or day 7). Publication happens by 11:00 a.m. ET; a day with no qualifying market publishes nothing. Selectivity is the product: the desk evaluates ~56 markets a day and publishes a handful.
4 · Commit-reveal receipts
Every Signal is serialized canonically, hashed with keccak-256, and the hash committed to Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663, 100ms blocks, settling to Ethereum) in the publication window. At exit the plaintext is revealed. The scheme yields three properties: provable timing (the block timestamp), immutability (an edited Signal breaks its hash), and completeness (deleted calls leave orphaned commitments anyone can count). Trust in the track record reduces to trust in the chain.
5 · Token-gated access
Access is a balance check, not a subscription: hold 5,000,000 $YKICIS in a self-custodied wallet on Robinhood Chain, prove ownership with a gasless signature, and every qualifying Signal, forecast, and row-level record is open. Sell the balance and access closes. This aligns the research with its readers, since the desk's audience holds the same asset that funds the desk, and it inherits Robinhood Chain's distribution: 23M retail users across 120 countries, with 95 stock tokens trading 24/7 on the same rails the desk prices.
6 · Measurement
Every Signal receives an equal $100 paper stake at its published reference entry, closed at day 7 or resolution, whichever comes first. Open positions are marked to market. The Research Lab scores every outcome (calibration by Brier score, Signal rules by paper return) and feeds findings into the next forecast. Aggregates on the site are computed from the row-level record, never quoted from memory.
7 · Legal posture
Ykicis is a publisher of research and information, not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, or futures commission merchant, and not registered with any regulatory authority. It operates no venue, places no trades, and custodies nothing. Paper results are hypothetical, exclude execution costs, and do not promise future performance. Prediction-market access varies by jurisdiction; eligibility is the reader's responsibility.
